In what is simultaneously a heartwarming idea and tragic indictment of the state of our island, Tesco has launched a new way to help the Foodbank.
Customers to its Little Switzerland store can buy a pre-packed brown bag to donate to the charity.
The Isle of Man Foodbank said: “Just pick up a bag as you enter the store and pay for it with your shopping. They cost around £3 and are filled with items that we most need for our parcels at the foodbank
“Thank you everybody at Tesco Little Switzerland and all of you that have already donated.”
