Tomorrow and Saturday will see thousands flood (hopefully metaphorically) to Knockaloe for the Royal Manx Agricultural Show.
The show has trade stands offering all sorts; food, drinks, holidays, machinery and everything you never knew you needed.
There will be plenty of animals for everyone to gaze at including, but not limited to, horses, cows, goats and chickens.
The main ring boasts plenty of entertainment over the two days with highlights of machinery parades, dog displays and this year, the hobby horse competition.
Saturday (August 10) will show the crème de la crème of livestock, with everyone and their gran gathering to watch who will be crowned the 2024 Supreme Champion.

All roads leading to the Show Field at Knockaloe in Peel will be clearly sign-posted.
The show would ask that all visitors to the Royal Manx follow these diversions to avoid any unnecessary congestion.
Alternatively travel to the show field by bus.
The Royal Manx opens at 9am on both days and parking is free.
Dogs are allowed on the field on both days, however, they must be on a lead, preferably a fixed lead not an extendable one.
There is a disabled access car park and if you hold a Blue Badge that is sufficient to get you in.
Baby Changing facilities are available at the Mothers Union marquee.
Community Show
Tickets for Friday cost £8 and Saturday costs £10.
Children on both days, aged between 4 and 16 will cost £1.
Arguably the most important question, “will Energy FM and Manx.News be there?” Yes, we will.
You can pop in and say ‘Hello!’ to us on stand 3 which is ideally located next to the main ring and just across from our pals at the Manx National Farmers Union.
You’ll also be able to watch and listen to us on the big screens that will be located around the show field.
