Some properties around Summerhill in Douglas may be without power into this evening.
Manx Utilities says it is aware of the issue and it is working to resolve the matter.
It said: “Properties may be off supply for an extended period into the evening due to difficulties in locating and repairing the fault.
“Our team will remain on site until supply is restored.”
