Entries close for the Blackford Financial Services Pre-TT Classic Road Races in two weeks time on Thursday, February 29.
One hundred and fifty entries have been received so far; the most popular being the Junior (350cc), Senior Post Classic Superbike, and Senior (500cc).
The promoters, Southern 100 Racing, introduced the Post Classic 125cc class two years ago.
Pre-TT
The promoters say the initial response was reasonable, whilst last year five started, with only two finishers.
At present only three entries have been received, so it would encourage any riders thinking of entering to do so, as the class will run as programme this year, the future could be uncertain.
This year’s races which take place on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday 24th, 25th & 26th May 2024.
Southern 100
Isle of Man Steam Packet Company (IOMSPC) Southern 100 Road Races will hit a milestone this year, celebrating the ferry operator’s 38th year of sponsoring the Southern 100.
IOMSPC started in 1987 as a Race Sponsor, progressing to the role of Title Sponsor in 1999.
The company not only offers special ferry rates to Marshalls and Competitors, it also arranges the transportation of vital safety equipment and furniture, as well as, providing the main prize for the Plaque Fund.
