The Isle of Man’s new overbudget ferry terminal in Liverpool will welcome passengers today.
The Steam Packet Company has confirmed passengers on Manannan’s 3pm sailing from Douglas to Liverpool will be the first to experience the new terminal.
Funds of £38m were approved for the Manx government-owned facility but that cost has risen to £70m.
Work began on the terminal in 2019 with an initial completion date of August 2021.
Steam Packet officials are asking for ‘patience and understanding’ as they get used to the new terminal.
