Widespread frost and ice patches this morning but continuing dry today, albeit slightly cloudier than of late, with some brighter spells at times.

Moderate to fresh easterly breeze, becoming strong in some exposed areas in the south, and a maximum temperature of 6°C.

Similar conditions tomorrow, dry with some bright or sunny intervals and a moderate to fresh easterly wind. Temperatures only rising to 5°C in the afternoon, but still with an overnight frost but likely confined to sheltered valleys and higher ground.

A yellow weather warning for frost and ice is in force until 12pm.
