The Isle of Man’s new ferry terminal in Liverpool will be discussed in Tynwald this week.
Douglas Central MHK Chris Thomas will ask the Treasury Minister when the terminal will open and which vessels will provide sea services for this year’s TT and other periods specified in the Sea Services Agreement.
Work began on the terminal in 2019 with an initial completion date of August 2021.
The project has been hit with a number of delays and costs have risen to more than £70 million pounds.
No official date has been given as to when the terminal will be in operation.
Last month, the Steam Packet Company said the Manannan will require ‘minor modification’ to enable it to dock at the new terminal.
