Manx Labour Party leader Joney Faragher has joined her now former minister in expressing concern over what is happening to the island’s health service.
Ms Faragher has joined Lawrie Hooper in quitting the department.
The Douglas East MHK had served as a political member in the DHSC throughout Mr Hooper’s time as minister and infamously during Rob Callister’s short spell in charge.
She said: “Unfortunately, I have found myself more and more uncomfortable within the role, as budgetary shortfalls start to hit home.
“I have serious reservations about the future direction of healthcare under the current vision of the Council of Ministers, and I firmly believe that the people of the Isle of Man should have a voice in shaping the future of our health services.”
