Police say one person is receiving treatment in Noble’s Hospital after the crash which closed a road in St Mark’s earlier today.
At 11:55am Police attended reports of the RTC on Braaid Road.
The crash involved one cyclist and a car, with the person on the bike being taken to hospital.
Police said: “The driver of the car is assisting Police with enquiries to establish the circumstances of the collision.
“The Roads Policing Unit is continuing to investigate this matter, and would like to appeal to anyone in the area of Braaid Road at the time of the incident, which may have information to assist us in this investigation, to make contact with us by calling 01624-631212 quoting reference number P250924017.
“We would kindly ask the public to not speculate in regards to this incident whilst enquiries continue.”
