Chief Minister Alf Cannan has survived today’s vote of no confidence.
Six MHKs voted in favour of the motion of no confidence, with 18 voting against.
The debate, which continued through the morning and into the afternoon saw several chastising remarks about the government.
However, members expressed concerns over a lack of certainty of what happens next and several ministers threatened to resign if Mr Cannan was forced to stand down.
