Noa says it is ‘super duper proud’ to see its bread being sold in Tesco.
The bakery is the latest Manx brand to be added to the supermarket giant’s shelves after its Shoprite takeover.
The bread was wheeled in on an old clothing rail from Betty Red, which was a dress shop on Strand Street in the early 2000s.
Noah said: ‘Not gonna lie, it’s been an exhausting and MASSIVE month. We qualified for SALSA (a national food safety standard) after a full audit, and we also aced Tesco’s supplier audit – which means… we’re now stocking the BIG boys.’
It added: ‘It’s a BIG win for real bread, standing tall next to those long-life loafers and all the junk food loaves.’
Since buying out Shoprite, Tesco has added Davisons and Fynoderee to its shelves and freezers.
