Island Escapes has sponsored the installation of a new water fountain at the airport.
The water fountain is in the departure lounge.
An Airport spokesperson: ‘Strategically positioned after security, our new water fountain allows travellers to easily refill their bottles on the go (remember, empty bottles are allowed through security!), promising a rejuvenating journey ahead.’
The airport also said that it is intending to make changes to the departure lounge in future to improve passengers’ experience.
John Keggin, managing director of Island Escapes, said: ‘We’re thrilled to team up with Isle of Man Airport for this initiative. Sustainability and guest satisfaction are fundamental to our values.’
Gary Cobb, airport director, added that the fountain reflects ‘our dedication to customer requests and environmental sustainability’.
