£75,000 raised for Hospice Isle of Man

Business consultancy firm, Altitude, donated £25,000 to Hospice Isle of Man to enable them to purchase the prize for the annual ‘Christmas Car Draw’.

The donation from Altitude has meant that as much of the money raised as possible from the draw has come back to Hospice, and will go directly to patient care.

This year, 3000 tickets were sold therefore an incredible £75,000 was raised for Hospice.

Last week on January 5, the winner of the 2023 Christmas Car Draw collected their prize.

Ticket number 3392 was bought by Inge Gestles, and her ticket was chosen to be the winner of the Hybrid, Automatic, Renault Captur with a retail value of over £29,000.

“When I bought the tickets I didn’t expect to win but I was happy to help this extraordinary charity raise funds.”

Speaking of her win, Inge said: “As the lucky winner of the 2023 Hospice Isle of Man Christmas raffle I would like to thank Hospice and their generous sponsor Altitude for the fabulous car.”

Stuart Colligon, Managing Director of Altitude was absolutely delighted to hand over the keys to Inge, for her new car.

Each and every person who entered the draw has helped make a huge difference to the charity, its’ patients and loved ones.

All care is freely available to those across the Island, and this couldn’t be possible without the support received in fundraising events such as the annual Christmas Car Draw.

With the support of the local community, Hospice can be there for patients and their loved ones 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 52 weeks a year.
